Susquehanna Bank Center
Susquehanna Bank CenterOne of the biggest venues in the Philadelphia area, the Susquehanna Bank Center at the Camden Waterfront is the spot to see all of the most popular acts in music today. Opening in 1995 as the Blockbuster-Sony Music Entertainment Centre, most commonly called the E-Centre, however, in 2001, Tweeter won the naming rights and the amphitheater was referred to as Tweeter Center at the Waterfront until 2008. Although it is now called the Susquehanna Bank Center, fans who grew up seeing concerts at this venue tend to still call it by it’s two older names. Located right on the Delaware River in Camden, New Jersey, the beautiful Philadelphia skyline is visible in the background.
Camden AmphitheatreAlthough the Susquehanna Bank Center is open year-round, the set-up does differ from winter to summer. In the warmer weather, the venue is an outdoor amphitheater which accommodates 25,000 concert goers per show. Closer to the stage, in the pit, orchestra, and loge areas are reserved seats, and behind them is a massive elevated lawn section with video screens and sound enhancement. The lawn is a favorite for groups of people who want to hang out and have a good time in a summer cookout atmosphere while listening to great music. In the colder weather, the amphitheater becomes an indoor venue with a 7,000 person capacity. Perfect for festivals in the summer or winter, the Susquehanna Bank Center is home to the Warped Tour, Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, Q102‘s Jingle Ball concert, WMMR’s MMR-B-Q and more. Whatever the season, no Philadelphia area venue has the same reputation as being a giant party and a concert all in one. AC Ticket Guys is proud to offer the best seats for Susquehanna Bank Center.
